Okay, so who’s ready for a Chanel reveal? :P
Since I purchased my Return to Tiffany earrings a few years ago (in 2007, if I recall correctly), I haven’t actually found another pair of earrings I really liked… until recently! I posted a teaser picture of the Chanel carrier on my Facebook… just to keep my friends in suspense, LOL!
So here goes. Can you guess what I got yet?
Here’s a better view of what lies within the little box! “11P” – yes, that means 2011 Printemps (French for “Spring”). I like how each box has a picture of the contents on its side. It’s really cute – the box containing my 2.55 Classic Flap had a picture of the bag on its side, too.
Ta-daa! :) A stunning pair of logo ear studs. There’s something intriguing about the pair of interlocking Cs. The day after the Spring collection hit the store, I popped by to meet my SA and she showed me trays of some of the most amazing Chanel earrings. This pair caught my eye! To be honest, I had intended to purchase a diamante-encrusted pair – they were beautiful! How they glimmered in the light at the store… But I’ve read (and my SA did tell me) horror stories of diamantes falling out and when that happens, repair will take between 2 to 4 weeks. Which means I should steer clear of them! As we oohed and aahed over the diamantes, she asked me to reconsider the pair since they were always sold out. I almost gave in; the perfectionist in me didn’t allow the purchase, LOL!
Here’s a close-up on the pair. I love the gunmetal colour and the glittery bits in the black. This design is also available in off-white (which stands out more), but I thought black is more glam. And my SA said I belong to, in her words, the “vogue” category so black is definitely for me! She added that the perfectionist in me wouldn’t have to worry about falling diamantes with this pair, LOL.
Btw, I’m so happy for my SA because she finally purchased her 2.55 Jumbo Classic Flap in Black Caviar with silver hardware! Yay, we’re bag twins now! :) While I was at the store, I checked out the latest bag arrivals. The Quilted Vinyl Camera Case is gorgeous! But so not me. Patent is a tad loud (at least in the size of the Camera Case), IMO. As of this moment, I’m not really a fan of In the Business Flap (but who knows what will happen in the future?). Also, I had my eye on the Mademoiselle bags but my SA gave them the thumbs-down. Well we’ll see! Maybe she’ll change her mind. I think the Mademoiselle is a great bag but I still prefer my 2.55. :) I love to ask my SA for her opinion because we’re very much alike in terms of style, and besides, she knows what’s coming up, what’s good and what’s not good for me.
Another close-up! :P They are so great for my wardrobe because they go with anything. I hardly tuck my hair behind my ears or put my hair up; now I’ve got a huge reason to do so! And of course I sneaked a peek at that double-quilted wallet through the glass – I really need to see the insides again before deciding. It’ll be a great addition to my collection. I love that it’s so subtle – the logo is so tiny, you can hardly tell it’s there. When I eventually buy it, you bet you’ll see it here! :)

I’d say this is probably cooler than the diamantes ones! You can wear this for years and years and years. The diamantes ones – you might feel like you can’t carry them off as well when you hit like, 30 :p

LOL! And I would probably be sending the diamante-encrusted pair back to Chanel all the time cos the diamantes kept falling off. I’ll show them soon! :)

Hello Audrey! :) Welcome to the blog. As Chanel’s accessories run out pretty quickly, I’m not sure if they still have stock. They may have restocked this, though… Fingers crossed! From my understanding, Chanel bag boutiques all carry accessories. I prefer to visit the one at Ngee Ann City because they tend to have the latest stock. :)
