Some of you may have read my post on the box of Soap & Glory goodies which the London HQ so kindly sent to me recently. Since then, I have taken Puck (that’s the pink rubber duck) on some adventures!

Today’s post consists of photos from our trips over the past weeks. I don’t consider this post a review per se, but I’m sure it tells you quite a bit about Puck! I definitely had lots of fun taking these photos. :D

Here’s Puck eyeing up a slice of pie at Don’s Pie Club, China Square Central. It was Sunday, and we were there to visit the weekend flea market.

Getting really close to the pie! Puck’s really delighted. Who doesn’t love Don’s pies?!

Now we’re at The Royals Cafe at City Square Mall. Looks like Puck spotted something! *squeak squeak!*

A slice of chocolate truffle cake, that’s what it is!

NOM NOM NOM!

Wait… what’s THAT?!

OREO CHEESECAKE!!!

Puck abandons the chocolate truffle and goes for the cheese.

Enough of munching, let’s do some reading! We read Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella, one of my favourite writers! I’m trying to read as much as I can, because I have severely neglected my reading over the past 6 years or so. I’m trying to cultivate the habit of reading just before bed – I know what they say about not stimulating the mind too much before bedtime, but that’s when I feel like reading the most.

Here’s Puck having lunch at Sushi Tei! It’s one of my favourite sushi places.

One day, we went to Marina Bay Sands because I made an appointment to see Chanel’s Fragrance Specialist for an olfactory journey. I’m holding Puck over the waters of our man-made indoor canal where people get sampan rides. He was initially cheerful, looking out at the canal, until…

I made him look down and he felt sort of… worried. If I dropped Puck into the water, we’ll need to get the sampan guys to help retrieve him. I think he knows.

Later on, we took a stroll outside near the ArtScience Museum’s lotus pond. Again, Puck looked down at the pond with fear in his eyes. The water was actually flowing pretty quickly so he might just get washed away… and we’ll never see each other again. Okay, I’m just exaggerating. We will see each other again but he’d probably be covered in algae.

He’s feels contented just sitting safely on the concrete slab near the edge of the lotus pond, basking in natural light.

And we return to the cool interior for my appointment at Chanel! :) I enjoyed the olfactory journey very much, and I will find time to blog about it soon!

Last weekend, we returned to Marina Bay Sands to catch Thriller Live!. It was Puck’s first real “concert”, or rather, musical.

See how happy he looks! We were really excited!

We sat at the fifth row from the front. The stage is just beautiful! The show was perfect… well, almost. I wish they put on their zombie masks and costumes when they performed Thriller. I’m so happy I caught it before they left Singapore! :)

After all the adventures, it’s time to take a bath!

Puck loves foam. See, he’s even eating it! He floats on water and makes that cute squeaking sound all rubber duckies make. The fact that he’s pretty small (his side measures about three inches) makes it really easy for me to bring him out and about. I just pop him into my 2.55 and we’re good to go!

Foam hat! :P

Skye owns loads of 1:6 scale military gear, so he suggested that Puck should do this…

And this!

If you’re feeling blue for whatever reason, I hope this post cheered you up! :) Have a great weekend, and please share your rubber duckie photos with me! :)

i can imagine! at times im still a lil conscious to take funny photos in public. but then, all for the blog’s sake, isn’t it? ;-)

Yeah! Everytime I take unusual photos I try to do it when no one’s looking, but sometimes really no choice if the place is crowded. Endure the weird stares and hopefully won’t bump into the same people again! LOL anything for a good blog post :D
