Hi everyone! How’s it going? :) My schedule has been extremely packed lately – so many things to do, so little time! This week’s going to be exciting, though.

I’m about to make an announcement.

I declare this week to be…

 SOAP & GLORY WEEK

There are two main reasons for said declaration.

Reason #1 – I’ve decided that I’m only going to write about Soap & Glory products this week.

Reason #2 – It’s the blog’s first birthday this Sunday, 3 July 2011, and I am giving away awesome Soap & Glory prizes! International readers, rejoice! It is going to be an international giveaway. I did some shopping over the weekend at Sephora – you guys are in for a treat!

To kickstart Soap & Glory week on the blog, I’m going to show you a product which has just hit Singapore shores. I’m sure you’ve all seen the parcel which the Soap & Glory folks sent me, all the way from London HQ, which contains the following:

Presenting said mosaicked item – the fabulous SIT TIGHT!

I’ve been wanting to try this product ever since I saw it on Soap & Glory’s website last year. It has launched in many other countries, and I’m so happy I got to try this before it landed in Singapore! :)

Sit Tight is a sit-activated special lower body firming formula (and possibly one of Soap & Glory’s BEST products ever, no kidding!).

Sit Tight works by utilising the friction/heat generated by the user during the act of sitting as a release mechanism to trigger increased movement of the product to the lower areas of the body most affected by fatty tissue buildup. With Sit Tight, you can achieve a firmer lower body and eliminate fluid retention simply by sitting tight.

Sit Tight is made up of three main components:

  • Pressocapsular-Firm-System™, a sit-released firming system loaded with caffeine (at a level between 27% to 33%) which is known for its extended lipolytic, firming and draining actions;
  • Detoxyboost™ to help increase blood circulation and stimulate effective movement of fluid; and
  • Puffdrain 82™, a triple-action puff draining peptide that firms, contours, smoothes and reduces the appearance of cellulite.

I love how Soap & Glory package their items – always whimsical, with uber funny captions. The photo below shows the reverse of the carton.

Here’s the tube, out of the box – a beautiful silver chrome, which makes it look very special. :)

Every morning, knead a generous dollop of Sit Tight onto your bottom and thighs to set up the Sit Tight Pressocapsular-Firm-System™. Knead like you’re kneading dough! Wait for a couple of minutes for the skin to fully absorb the product before putting  your clothes on.

Let’s have a look at the product, out of the tube. It is an off-white gel with a light and pleasant texture. However, as you need to apply a generous amount of it on your bottom and thighs, it can be a little sticky. It smells citrusy, which is no wonder as it contains a blend of pure essential oils, including citrus, rosemary and eucalyptus.

To be completely honest, I didn’t know if Sit Tight would work on me. I have come across at least 450276022 firming creams out there that claim to do what Sit Tight does (and more). But did any of them work? No. Did they cost a bomb? Yes.

I started using Sit Tight shortly after I received the parcel. Following the instructions, I apply and massage a generous amount of Sit Tight onto my bottom and thighs every morning. A few minutes after application, I’d start to feel a heating sensation which would slowly turn into a stinging/burning sensation – kind of like rubbing chilli onto your skin, if you know what I mean. That feeling would usually last up to an hour for me (sometimes slightly more), and at times I’d feel a slight itch on the back of my thighs. I admit it doesn’t feel good, but if it gets the job done…

I was genuinely surprised when I saw a difference from as early as the third day of usage. My skin started to become smoother and less lumpy. I continued using Sit Tight on daily basis, and after a few weeks of usage, my bottom and thighs appeared firmer and had more shape to them – they actually started to look the way they are supposed to. I also noticed there was a reduction (albeit slight) in my thigh measurement. Seriously, that’s a bonus. This stuff works like nothing else! I plan to stick with using Sit Tight, and I’m going to purchase a brand new tube from Sephora after I run out. If it works this well in just weeks, imagine how much more it can do in months?

Remember, the product works most effectively when you sit down, so it’s perfect for me as I sit a lot. I sit from 9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays, and I’m quite sure Sit Tight was made with people like me in mind.

I am so impressed with Sit Tight. You get results just by sitting down! For those of you out there on the hunt for a good firming product, give Sit Tight a shot. Retailing at just SGD38 for a 200ml tube, this is one Soap & Glory product you have to try. In fact, this is the best firming product I have ever tried. Go try it for yourself and see results. Soap & Glory has done it, yet again!

I would also recommend that you get your daily eight glasses of water to further prevent fluid retention. ;)

Now sit tight and wait for the giveaway!

Can you use this on your stomach?

    • J September 25, 2011 at 2:30 AM #

Hi Grace, Sit Tight is a sit-activated product and is targeted at the lower body. I guess there’s no harm applying it on your stomach – I haven’t tried using it on mine though – let me know if it works!
